I. Product Introduction:
This product is an automatic colony counting device that integrates image acquisition, data processing and statistics. It is widely used in fields such as food, medicine, cosmetics, environmental monitoring, medical and health care, and research institutions for colony counting. This instrument employs advanced digital image processing technology and features fluorescence colony recognition and sterilization functions. It can achieve rapid, accurate and fully automatic colony counting in petri dishes, significantly improving experimental efficiency and reducing human error.

It is equipped with a 254nm ultraviolet lamp, which can sterilize and disinfect the chamber as well as induce mutations.
It is equipped with a 366nm ultraviolet lamp, which can excite the fluorescence of colonies. This meets the requirements for counting Escherichia coli, observing green fluorescent protein, etc.
★The brightness of the upper and lower lights can be freely adjusted directly through the software, and they can be turned on or off without the need for mechanical switches.

1) One-click counting for 10 mode classifications:
One-click bacterial count for dispersed colonies: Quickly count the colonies with relatively clear edges and dispersed distribution.
Magnetic bead one-click counting: Suitable for rapid counting of colonies with a single background color and blurred colony adhesion edges.
Microbial one-click counting: Suitable for rapid counting of tiny colonies with diameters ranging from 0.1mm to 0.5mm.
One-click counting of large colonies: Suitable for rapid counting of tiny colonies with a diameter greater than 2mm
3M (PetriFilm™) One-Click Counting: Quickly count the colonies growing on 3M paper discs
Black grid (Compact Dry™) one-click counting: Quickly count the colonies that grow on the black solid paper discs.
Grid filter membrane (RIDA™) one-click counting: Quickly count the colonies growing on the filter membrane sheet
Background-identical bacteria one-click counting: Suitable for rapid counting of colonies whose color is similar to that of the culture medium.
Single-color bacteria one-click counting: Select a single color from the multi-color colonies for quick counting.
Multi-color bacteria one-click counting: By repeatedly clicking on the target colonies, the corresponding colors can be automatically extracted, and all the colonies of the same color within the selected area can be automatically separated out. This is suitable for the statistics of specific color colonies in multi-color bacteria.
2) Auxiliary Statistical Tools
Manual correction: Double-click the mouse to add or remove the missing colonies; Select the area to add or remove the missing colonies.
Intelligent correction: Based on one-click statistics, intelligent corrections can be made.
Measurement tools: angles, line segments, areas, curves
Pollutant (impurity) removal: Impurities are removed based on color, diameter, and roundness.
Analysis of single colony morphology: Click on a single colony to obtain information such as the roundness, diameter, perimeter, and area of this colony.
All colony shapes: After the statistics are completed, it can be known that all the colony shapes on the plate include information such as roundness, diameter, perimeter, and area.
Cultivation size classification: After the statistics are completed, each colony's outline size is used to categorize and display it in 25 levels.
Conversion of total colony count of samples: Based on the actual diameter of the culture plates and the sample dilution degree, automatic conversion is achieved.
3. Data Security and Management
Multi-user login system, each account has its own independent data, and the data is permanently saved.
The statistical results are output in PDF format and the original data cannot be modified.
It has an audit tracking function. Every step of the operator's operation in the software is automatically recorded, enabling the subsequent retrieval of the result data.
Built-in dual-language display (Chinese and English), with one-click switch function
The instrument is supported by a cloud platform, allowing the analysis data to be saved in the cloud and enabling users to view it anytime and anywhere.
4. Light Source Management
This series of fully automatic colony counters is equipped with a flexible upper and lower dual-light source system. Users can freely adjust the light source through the software according to the type of different petri dishes, colony characteristics, and background conditions to achieve the best imaging effect.
Specific functions include:
Independent control: The upper light source and the lower light source can be turned on or off independently.
★Brightness adjustment: There is no need for mechanical switches for control. Each light source's brightness can be freely adjusted directly through the software, with fine-tuning (precise to 1%). This allows for adaptation to different contrast requirements.
Mode Switching: Users can freely switch between various lighting modes such as "Only Top Lighting", "Only Bottom Lighting", and "Top and Bottom Lighting Simultaneously".
★ Scheme Saving: Users can save the light source combinations they have set (including the switch status and brightness) as custom schemes. When encountering the same type of sample again, they can directly call upon this scheme without having to reconfigure it, which significantly enhances work efficiency and the consistency of results.
5. Calibration Function
To ensure the accuracy of the measurement results, this series of fully automatic colony counters offer a reliable size calibration function, which converts the pixel units in the image into actual physical dimensions (such as millimeters), thereby guaranteeing the accuracy of measurement data such as colony diameters and areas. This function is divided into two modes: automatic calibration and manual calibration, to meet the needs of different users and scenarios.
